What you will do

  • Operate MOCVD equipment, including pre-growth checks, wafer etching, cleaning, loading, unloading, and recipe execution.
  • Perform wafer characterization using photoluminescence mapping, XRD rocking curves, ECV doping profiles, and particle inspection.
  • Record process parameters, calibration data, wafer results, and re-growth information in production and metrology records.
  • Maintain inventory of substrates, wafers, chemicals, spare parts, and maintenance tools.
  • Perform equipment maintenance, hardware replacement, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Support chamber refurbishment and maintain cleanroom work areas to reduce wafer particle defects.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics, Semiconductor Technology, or a related technical field preferred, or a high school diploma with relevant technical training and certification.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical, electronic, or semiconductor fabrication operations.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom operations, safety protocols, contamination control, wafer handling, and high-vacuum equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to follow strict cleanroom procedures, work independently during critical wafer growth steps, and communicate effectively in a team.
  • Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as required by production demand.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, wear full cleanroom gowning, and work in a controlled environment.
