TL;DR
Technician II- Equipment (Test and Probe) (Semiconductor Manufacturing): Maintaining, calibrating, and repairing complex semiconductor test and probe equipment with an accent on electromechanical systems, diagnostic techniques, and production support. Focus on troubleshooting wafer probers, package handlers, ATE testers, ovens, and their power, pneumatic, robotic, vacuum, temperature, gas, and RF subsystems.
Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; onsite night shift, Monday through Wednesday and every other Thursday, 7:00 p.m.–7:12 a.m.
Hourly pay: $19–$32 per hour, plus restricted stock units and quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs on wafer probers, package handlers, ATE testers, ovens, and related equipment.
- Apply diagnostic techniques to identify equipment failures and analyze process data with technicians and engineers.
- Support production and engineering personnel while following manufacturing and safety protocols.
- Interface with OEM suppliers and contractors to complete repairs and provide input on preventive maintenance schedules.
- Participate in improvement activities, team meetings, equipment training, and supplier training sessions.
- Adapt to a traditional compressed shift, including weekends, when production scheduling changes.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of related work experience or training and a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and general repairs on electromechanical production equipment.
- Ability to read schematics, mechanical drawings, and written instructions.
- Experience using multimeters, soldering irons, and mechanical tools, with electromechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and use Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry approximately 50 pounds; experience repairing semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment is required.
Nice to have
- Associate technical degree, electronics training, or a military electronics certificate.
- Experience repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, probe equipment, or semiconductor fab equipment.
