Co-Manager (Retail)

What you will do

• Plan and direct day-to-day store operations under the guidance of the Store Manager.
• Lead, coach, and develop leadership and associate staff.
• Execute strategies to improve customer service, store sales, profitability, and customer retention.
• Manage inventory replenishment, organization, shrink control, and communication.
• Identify hiring needs and conduct interviews, hiring, training, and performance coaching.
• Resolve escalated customer complaints and support store leadership responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of functional experience.
• Experience leading projects and people; formal management experience is not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions affecting store finances, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Experience operating point-of-sale systems and various software packages.
• Availability for a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally and according to local business trends.
