Plant HR Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Milesburg, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite at the plant

What you will do

• Administer HR policies, procedures, reporting, performance reviews, and HRIS updates.
• Recruit, interview, select, and orient employees for vacant plant positions.
• Manage employee relations matters, investigations, listening sessions, and conflict resolution with plant management and senior HR.
• Support safety programs through facility walkthroughs, safety committee participation, accident investigations, and insurance reporting.
• Review and submit payroll, maintain FLSA compliance, and support union avoidance activities.
• Lead training, talent planning, departmental projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in human resources or a similar manufacturing environment.
• At least 6 years of experience in the position or a comparable role.
• At least 4 years of experience managing people or projects.
• Experience with employee relations, compliance, safety, recruiting, payroll, and HRIS processes.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Nice to have

• 10 or more years of experience in human resources or a similar manufacturing environment.
• At least 6 years of experience managing people or projects.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in a foreign language.
