Electrical Engineer IV (Military Systems)

What you will do

• Perform electrical engineering, analysis, research, development, testing, and evaluation for military equipment and systems.
• Design, develop, and test electrical components, analog circuits, and digital circuits.
• Create and manage PCB layouts, schematics, and fabrication files using EDA/CAD software.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate and debug prototype and production hardware.
• Conduct design reviews and simulations covering performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and maintain design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of combined engineering and technical experience, including 6 years of project experience; or a master’s degree with 7 years of experience, including 4 years of project experience; or a PhD with 5 years of applicable experience, including 2 years of project experience.
• Experience in electrical component or system design, development, testing, manufacturing, or installation, plus engineering analysis supporting military equipment and systems.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15%.

Nice to have

• Experience designing hardware for vibration, acoustic, temperature, and EMI environments.
• Experience with Altium Designer, AutoCAD Design, or comparable EDA/CAD tools.
• Experience refining requirements, performing simulations, and troubleshooting existing electrical products.
