Senior Electrical Engineer (Aerospace)

Salary: $124,771.42–$171,560.71 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of electrical and electronic systems for complex aerospace and defense applications.
• Develop circuit card assemblies and implement electrical wiring design practices.
• Conduct and oversee testing, validation, troubleshooting, and debugging of electronic systems and components.
• Prepare and review technical designs, test plans, and test results.
• Lead design reviews and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to engineering improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; an advanced relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering or related experience.
• Expert proficiency in electrical and electronic design and validation techniques.
• Experience with digital or analog circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout processes, circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis.
• Experience with computer-aided engineering tools and multidisciplinary design teams.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience with electrical CAD software.
• Experience with Electrical Load Analysis.
• Familiarity with electromagnetic effects, electromagnetic compatibility, and electromagnetic interference.
