Electrical Engineer II (Aerospace)

Location: Midwest City, Oklahoma, United States; onsite support for Tinker AFB customers

What you will do

• Reverse-engineer airborne and ground obsolete systems to understand their design and functionality.
• Create and review electrical schematics and designs.
• Interpret project requirements, perform detailed analyses, and apply standard engineering techniques.
• Develop and review technical documentation for systems, standards, workflows, operations, products, and services.
• Work in laboratory environments on the fabrication, operation, installation, application, and repair of electrical products.
• Support increasingly complex modifications and modernizations of systems such as the B-52 and B-1.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar discipline from an ABET-accredited school.
• At least two years of experience in a related field.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Ability to understand electrical designs, drawings, and standards.
• Strong logical reasoning and written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Engineer in Training certificate or Professional Engineer license.
• Programming experience.
• Experience with electrical CAD software.
• Knowledge of Department of Defense and manufacturing standards and codes.
