Field Service Technician (Cryogenic)

Location: Cleveland, OH, United States; onsite work at a retail shop, hirify.global facilities, and customer sites

Salary: $30–$32 per hour

What you will do

• Install and maintain nitrogen on-site generation equipment and bulk medical or industrial gas systems.
• Support cryogenic bulk installations at hirify.global facilities and customer sites.
• Restore and optimize pressure reduction equipment, electrical controls, alarms, piping, and related systems.
• Conduct site surveys, annual inspections, and preventive maintenance in accordance with applicable codes and company procedures.
• Install hazard signage and fencing, maintain recommended spare parts, and respond to operational emergencies.
• Uphold safety policies while collaborating on additional field service projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
• At least two years of industrial field service experience, preferably with gas generation systems.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications, with the ability to read technical and safety documentation.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly with customers, and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to lift and transport 25–75 pounds, climb stairs, ladders, and truck beds, work outdoors in varied temperatures, and operate a motor vehicle.
• Must have or obtain a Certified Brazer Certificate within 30 days of employment; reliable transportation is required during the initial training period.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NFPA 99 and NFPA 55 requirements.
• Experience with cryogenic equipment, pressure piping, compressors, pumps, and system troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of welding and silver brazing processes, regulator repairs, and piping or liquid leak repairs.
