TL;DR
Flight Line A&P Mechanic (Aerospace): Performing functional test procedures, pre- and post-flight inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of aircraft systems for A220 and A320 Family aircraft with an accent on flight-line readiness, aircraft system diagnostics, and safe maintenance execution. Focus on preparing aircraft for test flights and delivery, repairing mechanical and hydraulic systems, interpreting approved maintenance documentation, and supporting continuous improvement and FOD management.

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, Alabama, United States

What you will do

  • Perform Functional Test Procedures, pre-flight and post-flight inspections, daily inspections, and post-dock maintenance checks.
  • Prepare completed aircraft for test flights and delivery readiness while supporting flight-line operations.
  • Troubleshoot, rig, repair, replace, and maintain aircraft structures, components, and systems, including landing gear, flight controls, anti-icing, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, ventilation, heating, cooling, and cabin systems.
  • Service aircraft fluids, tires, struts, and related systems; perform refueling, defueling, aircraft jacking, and towing.
  • Read and interpret approved aircraft diagrams, schematics, charts, and maintenance documentation.
  • Support process improvement, root cause analysis, 5S, SQCDP activities, safety, security, and tool/FOD management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of aviation experience, preferably in aviation manufacturing or an MRO environment.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant License required.
  • Knowledge of aircraft mechanical and electrical systems, specialized tools, measuring devices, test equipment, and aircraft sealing techniques.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and outdoors.
  • Ability to train other aircraft technicians and coordinate with lead personnel on schedules, parts, tools, and priorities.
  • Current U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this U.S. position.
