A320 Flight Line A&P Mechanic (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in Mobile Area, Alabama, United States. Second-shift schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., with flexibility for rotating shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Domestic and international travel may be required for training and off-site aircraft recovery.

What you will do

• Perform functional test procedures and pre- and post-flight inspections for A320 aircraft.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and repair or replace aircraft structures, components, and systems.
• Maintain landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, and ventilation systems.
• Service and repair cabin interior components and perform daily aircraft maintenance.
• Prepare maintenance documentation according to company procedures.
• Operate aircraft ground-support equipment and perform refueling, defueling, jacking, and towing activities.

Requirements

• At least three years of aviation experience, preferably in aircraft manufacturing or an MRO environment.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant license and valid driver license.
• High school diploma and vocational or technical school credential.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a passport allowing unrestricted travel to Canada.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 40 lb, push or pull up to 500 lb on wheels, stand for long periods, work in various weather conditions, and operate man lifts.
