Production Shift Manager

Location: Fridley, Minnesota, USA; onsite. 12-hour night shift from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. on a 2-2-3 schedule. Day-shift training is required.

Salary: $85,000+ annually, based on experience.

What you will do

• Lead the night-shift manufacturing team and model safety-first behaviors.
• Maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Coach employees on hazard recognition, 5S, housekeeping, and operational discipline.
• Drive quality, cost, delivery, and overall shift-performance targets.
• Develop and mentor employees through feedback and training.
• Use data and management systems to improve performance and coordinate workflow across shifts and functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of manufacturing experience in shift-based operations.
• 1–3 years of people-leadership experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree.
• Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Hands-on experience with continuous-improvement tools such as 5S and DMAIC.
