Director, HRIS - Workday

What you will do

• Lead the HR technology strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap centered on Workday.
• Own the HR systems architecture and integration strategy across payroll, benefits, recruiting, learning, identity management, finance, and third-party systems.
• Oversee the evaluation, implementation, optimization, and lifecycle management of enterprise HR technology.
• Establish operational support models, service standards, change management, adoption strategies, and audit readiness.
• Partner with HR, Finance, IT, Security, business leaders, and vendors to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
• Lead, coach, and develop the HRIS team while driving operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HRIS, HR technology, or enterprise systems experience, including 5+ years leading people.
• Deep expertise administering, optimizing, and governing Workday HCM and related modules.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide HR technology initiatives and large-scale cross-functional projects.
• Knowledge of HR operations, talent management, compensation, payroll, workforce analytics, data governance, architecture, integrations, APIs, and security.
• Strong strategic planning, consulting, stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Government contracting experience and knowledge of related workforce, compliance, audit, reporting, and labor requirements.
• Advanced Workday configuration and optimization experience.
• Experience supporting multi-state, federal contractor, or global employee populations.
• Workday certification.
