Field Service Technician (Industrial Gas Equipment)

Location: Seattle, WA - Retail shop; travel throughout the assigned territory and 24/7 on-call availability are required.

Salary: $30.00-$45.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with a quarterly bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Install, commission, maintain, inspect, test, and repair liquid and gas equipment storage systems at customer sites.
• Service distribution and regulation systems, applications equipment, telemonitoring equipment, instrumentation, air compressors, and nitrogen generation systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues while following established safety procedures.
• Coordinate installations and removals with service providers, engineering, sales, customer service, and distribution teams.
• Maintain work records, compile billing information, and track related project costs.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory using a company vehicle.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a college or technical degree is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work in a drug-free environment.
• Ability to remain on call 24/7.
• Four or more years of diagnostic and repair experience in cryogenics, high-pressure piping, brazing, electrical circuits, refrigeration, PLCs, or process instrumentation.
• Ability to work onsite in Seattle and travel throughout the assigned territory.

Nice to have

• ASSE 6015 or CGA M1 certification.
• College or technical degree.
