Production Planner (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Plan manufacturing production schedules, departmental workflows, supply plans, work orders, lot sizes, and lead times.
• Coordinate communication between Customer Service and production regarding customer deliveries, costs, schedules, inventory, and efficiency.
• Manage order due dates, planned order execution, ship dates, and contingency plans when deviations occur.
• Coordinate materials and subcontract operations to meet production schedules and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Review production cell capacity and develop short- and long-term capacity plans, adjusting priorities and schedules as needed.
• Recommend and document procedures, policies, and alternatives to improve operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management or a related field with internship experience, or a high school diploma with significant relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 4 years of planning, production, and materials management experience.
• Experience working in an MRP II environment.
• For regular U.S. positions, candidates must be U.S. citizens or nationals, permanent residents, refugees, asylees, or qualifying temporary residents.
• Temporary visa holders and candidates requiring current or future work authorization sponsorship are not eligible.
