Senior Civil Engineer / Team Leader - Municipal Engineering

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of multidisciplinary public infrastructure, water, and wastewater projects.
• Lead engineers, designers, and technical staff while providing mentorship and technical guidance.
• Build relationships with municipal and state clients and act as a technical advisor.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, performance, and client satisfaction.
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control for design deliverables.
• Support business development through opportunity identification, proposal development, and client presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in municipal or public infrastructure design and project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in New York or ability to obtain it within 6 months.
• Experience leading teams, managing clients, and delivering infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and self-motivation skills.
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D, stormwater and utility design, and local standards.
