Production Supervisor (Sustainable Packaging)

What you will do

• Supervise personnel and all production operations on a rotating shift.
• Maintain knowledge of plant processes and equipment, identify problems, and coordinate maintenance support.
• Train, evaluate, and review chemical operators while organizing work for smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, safety requirements, and discharge limits.
• Verify product identification, weights, warehousing, truck loading and unloading, and shift paperwork.
• Complete run sheets, status reports, and troubleshooting activities while meeting production quality and quantity standards.

Requirements

• Knowledge of reactors, instruments, dryers, centrifuges, filters, pumps, forklifts, steam baths, temperature recorders, scales, banding machines, test equipment, and plant processes.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor industrial environments, including weather exposure, heights, and confined spaces.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and perform frequent standing, bending, squatting, crawling, twisting, and lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts, including overtime, holidays, and weekends as required.
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity sufficient to inspect products and operate machinery for precision work.
