Field Service Engineer (Hematology)

Location: Remote from the United States, with a service territory primarily covering Tri-Cities, WA and Hermiston, OR. Overnight travel within the territory is required approximately 15% of the time.

Salary: $33.65–$38.00 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus/incentive pay and a housing allowance.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, install, perform preventive maintenance on, and repair Beckman Coulter diagnostic equipment.
• Service hematology and other diagnostic platforms, including automation, immunoassay, chemistry, urinalysis, clinical IT, and microbiology systems.
• Provide efficient customer service and technical product training.
• Maintain customer service logs and internal records, order repair parts, and meet service cycle times.
• Use OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for service call planning and team objectives.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders and help train newer Field Service Engineers.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, military experience, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, electronic equipment, or instrumentation.
• Ability to travel overnight approximately 15% of the time within the Tri-Cities, WA and Hermiston, OR territory.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 lb.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of advanced troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modification, or service repair experience.
• Experience developing stakeholder relationships that improve customer satisfaction and retention.
• Technical college education in biomedical technology, engineering, or a related field.
