Full-Time Faculty - Nursing

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, USA; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday through Thursday

Salary: USD 75,000–90,000 per year

What you will do

• Teach assigned nursing courses in classroom, online, clinical, laboratory, and simulation settings, including flexible evening and weekend classes.
• Develop and implement course curricula and teaching materials using technology and evidence-based methods.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback and remediation, and support student learning success.
• Lead or support clinical, laboratory, and simulation learning while connecting theory to safe, ethical, and professional practice.
• Mentor students and new faculty and contribute to committees, graduation activities, program evaluation, and professional service.
• Engage in scholarship, research, professional development, and initiatives that improve student outcomes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing required; a PhD in an appropriate field is applicable to the teaching profession.
• Current, unencumbered professional nurse licensure in Florida, or eligibility to obtain it.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Experience with learning management systems, simulation equipment, online platforms, and increasing use of AI in teaching and learning.
• Strong communication, initiative, judgment, conflict management, collaboration, and emotional and social intelligence.
• Maintain current regulatory, practice, and clinical compliance credentials as required for the assignment; education and experience must meet applicable state regulations.
