EPC Project Engineer (Los Banos, CA)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in Los Banos, California; travel required

Salary: $72,000–$90,000 per year

Provides infrastructure services for the power industry, including the design, construction, and maintenance of utility-scale solar, battery storage, and high-voltage substation projects across the United States.

What you will do

• Coordinate project deliverables, documentation, meetings, and communications with the jobsite team and subcontractors.
• Maintain drawings, specifications, logs, electronic filing systems, CPM schedules, procurement records, and submittals.
• Evaluate field problems, document PCI items, prepare change orders, and support quantity and cost reporting in CMiC.
• Maintain site-specific safety planning, quality management systems, progress photo albums, and punch lists.
• Compile contract closeout documents, including O&M manuals, as-builts, and record drawings.
• Perform basic BIM and model administration functions.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of construction-related experience or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of construction cost accounting, estimating, scheduling, plans, and specifications.
• Basic computer skills and effective organizational, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and work proactively in a fast-paced jobsite environment.
• Construction internship or field experience is beneficial.
• Ability to work full-time at the Los Banos, CA jobsite and travel as required.

Nice to have

• Drafting and advanced computer skills.
• Knowledge of virtual construction technology systems.
• Construction-related internship or field experience, such as carpentry.
