Director of Logistics (SureTree Logistics LLC)

Location: Hudson, Wisconsin, United States. The role operates in a professional office environment.

Salary: $143,360–$184,320 per year.

What you will do

• Develop a logistics strategy aligned with Evergreen Holdings’ growth, with a focus on expanding self-performed operations.
• Manage inbound and outbound freight through the internal fleet and third-party carriers.
• Lead CDL drivers, logistics supervisors, and coordinators while setting performance standards.
• Oversee fleet acquisition, maintenance, utilization, driver records, and audit readiness.
• Track KPIs including on-time delivery, cost per mile, fleet utilization, service quality, and operational ROI.
• Manage logistics budgets, vendor billing, risk mitigation, safety programs, and process improvements using ERP and TMS systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of logistics or transportation management experience, including fleet operations and CDL driver oversight.
• Experience balancing self-performed logistics services with third-party logistics providers.
• Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA compliance, hours-of-service requirements, and transportation safety programs.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite and logistics platforms.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, budgeting, and operational ROI skills.

Nice to have

• Certified Transportation Professional certification.
• CLTD certification.
• OSHA or DOT safety training.
