SBU Logistics Leader (Supply Chain)

Location: Davidson, North Carolina, United States. Hybrid schedule: onsite Monday through Thursday; Friday work location is flexible based on business needs. Travel up to 25%.

Annual base salary: $80,243.33–$112,280.00.

What you will do

• Develop, mature, and execute logistics strategy for the Thermo King Transport Refrigeration SBU with the Enterprise Logistics and Supply Chain teams.
• Manage global inbound and outbound freight spend, compliance, imports, logistics inflation, and financial recovery initiatives.
• Connect carrier invoices, logistics analytics, and actual SBU spend to improve reporting and cost control.
• Lead logistics productivity, value analysis, continuous improvement, and standard-work deployment across manufacturing plants.
• Partner with plant, operations, sales, customer service, finance, and logistics stakeholders to address requirements and resolve escalated execution gaps.
• Manage provider capacity, delivery performance, quality, and continuity of logistics services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of logistics experience.
• Knowledge of freight payment, spend analytics, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Understanding of SBU transportation requirements, regional distribution networks, and logistics solutions.
• Ability to analyze linked data sets, operate strategically, facilitate discussions, consult stakeholders, and resolve conflicts.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
