Maintenance Team Lead (Wind Power)

Location: Kingston upon Hull, United Kingdom; onsite role at a blade production facility with shifts including nights and weekends.

What you will do

• Oversee, manage, and plan maintenance activities for machinery, tools, and plant equipment.
• Supervise maintenance work in line with quality guidelines and EHS requirements.
• Assign tasks to team members and provide first-level escalation for technical or procedural issues.
• Work as a Senior Technician and Maintenance Operative for approximately 60–80% of the time while providing technical leadership.
• Coach team members and support the induction and training of new starters.
• Drive compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14000, and occupational health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Experience managing workflows, processes, and equipment to meet or exceed production targets.
• Strong focus on health and safety, attention to detail, and high-quality work.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a team and promote continuous improvement.
• Collaborative approach and ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and managers.
• Availability for shift work including nights, weekends, and handover periods at the beginning and end of shifts.
