Shift Equipment Technician Manager

Location: Springtown, Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. Full-time on-site role with 12-hour day and night shifts on a repeating rota. Travel: none.

What you will do

• Lead, motivate, mentor, and develop a team of Engineering Specialists and Technicians.
• Oversee planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance for complex manufacturing equipment.
• Analyse equipment breakdown trends and ensure preventative maintenance is completed on schedule.
• Lead downtime response, providing immediate troubleshooting and timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, audits, incident reporting, and standard operating procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-departmental collaboration across the Springtown facility.

Requirements

• Relevant Level 4 technical or management qualification, or a relevant Level 3 qualification with three years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical experience analysing trends and patterns to identify preventative maintenance and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a high-performing team environment.
• Experience setting goals, providing training and feedback, and managing performance.
• Ability to work on-site in Springtown on rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.
• Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• People supervision or management experience covering HR management responsibilities.
• Health and safety qualification such as CSR Gold, IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent.
• Recognised management qualification.
