Supervising Electrician (Electrical & Instrumentation)

Location: Field based across the United Kingdom, with significant travel and working away from home approximately 80% of the year, including Monday–Friday assignments.

What you will do

• Supervise and undertake Electrical & Instrumentation installations on client sites.
• Lead teams and subcontractors while maintaining safety, quality and productivity standards.
• Carry out CompEx inspections for hazardous-area installations and provide final sign-off where required.
• Coordinate daily site activities and ensure delivery against project targets, deadlines and client requirements.
• Oversee commissioning documentation, handover paperwork, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with clients, colleagues, subcontractors and site personnel while ensuring compliance with CDM and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician with City & Guilds, an apprenticeship, AM2 or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent.
• CCNSG, SHEA Passport, SCO1 & SCO2, TEM 2, 3 & 4 and CompEx qualifications.
• Proven experience leading small teams in a supervisory role.
• Good knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation drawings and systems, with confident client communication.
• Ability to travel at short notice, work away from home and work overtime when required.
