Security Architecture Consultant (Cryptography & Quantum Security)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with attendance at the office or client site a minimum of 2 days per week.

What you will do

• Deliver security architecture and secure-by-design activities.
• Provide cryptography, PKI, key management, and trust services advisory.
• Conduct post-quantum cryptography readiness assessments, cryptographic discovery, and inventory activities.
• Develop migration plans, cryptographic agility initiatives, and technical recommendations.
• Run client workshops and engage with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Develop PQC propositions, methods, thought leadership, bids, and business development materials.

Requirements

• Experience in security architecture and applied cryptography, PKI, key management, or related cybersecurity.
• Understanding of public key cryptography, certificates, and trust services.
• Experience producing assessments, roadmaps, and technical recommendations.
• Strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to senior stakeholders.
• Applicants must be British citizens or have been continuously resident in the UK for the past 5 years to meet potential security-clearance requirements.
• Relevant qualifications may include CISSP, SABSA, CCSP, cloud security, security architecture, or cryptography certifications.

Nice to have

• Cloud security architecture and enterprise identity and access management experience.
• Experience with DevSecOps, code signing, network security, operational technology, or critical infrastructure.
• Experience with security transformation programmes, PQC standards, migration planning, or cryptographic agility initiatives.

Hiring process

• Initial call with a technology recruiter.
• Two 60-minute competency or technical interviews.
• Final 60-minute meeting with a PA leader, including a mini case study and client-centricity discussion.
