Cybersecurity Consultant (AI)

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; flexible work from home, client locations, or the office in Amsterdam.

What you will do

• Deliver cybersecurity consulting, implementation, and audit engagements across strategy, risk, compliance, operations, and resilience.
• Support cyber strategy work including target operating models, maturity assessments, transformation, and executive advisory.
• Assess and manage cyber risk, third-party risk, compliance frameworks, privacy assurance, and business continuity.
• Work on cloud, infrastructure, endpoint, application, IoT, operational technology, cryptography, and security architecture projects.
• Contribute to threat hunting, digital forensics, incident response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and red teaming.
• Develop CyberLab SaaS solutions, conduct technology benchmarks and proof-of-concepts, monitor cybersecurity developments, and contribute to publications and industry events.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in a consulting firm, including cybersecurity projects.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics with the ability to build expertise quickly.
• Knowledge of one or more of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks, operating systems, cloud platforms, applications, and cryptography.
• English and Dutch communication and presentation skills are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of blockchain.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and security technologies across web servers, databases, and middleware.
