Senior Cybersecurity Consultant (AI)

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands, with hybrid work from home, the client, or the Amsterdam office.

What you will do

• Deliver cybersecurity consulting, implementation, and auditing across cyber strategy, risk, compliance, operations, and resilience.
• Manage client projects or complex project substreams from initiation through delivery, including reporting and commitment tracking.
• Build client relationships and act as a cybersecurity subject-matter expert for middle-management stakeholders.
• Develop CyberLab offers and SaaS solutions, benchmark cybersecurity products, and create proofs of concept using advanced technologies and AI.
• Prepare and deliver certified cybersecurity training, awareness, and coaching sessions.
• Contribute to business development, publications, professional events, and the supervision and development of junior and confirmed consultants.

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, econometrics, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant cybersecurity project experience in a consultancy firm.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics, with the ability to build expertise quickly.
• Knowledge of one or more of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks, operating systems, cloud platforms, applications, and cryptography; blockchain knowledge is an advantage.
• English and Dutch communication and presentation skills are required. Non-Dutch speakers will not be accepted.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of blockchain technologies.
• Experience across cloud, OT/SCADA/ICS, IoT, IAM, penetration testing, digital forensics, or operational resilience.
