Cybersecurity Consultant (AI)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work from home, the client, or the Amsterdam office

What you will do

• Deliver cybersecurity consulting, implementation, and audit engagements across strategy, risk, compliance, operations, and resilience.
• Support projects involving cyber strategy, maturity assessments, risk management, compliance frameworks, cloud security, security architecture, and data protection.
• Contribute to threat hunting, digital forensics, incident response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, red teaming, and business continuity initiatives.
• Develop new SaaS offers and cybersecurity solutions through the hirify.global CyberLab, using advanced technologies and AI.
• Perform market benchmarks and proofs of concept for cybersecurity solutions and monitor cybersecurity developments.
• Contribute to articles, white papers, studies, webinars, professional events, and cybersecurity industry activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience at a consultancy firm, including cybersecurity projects.
• Strong interest in data and AI topics, with the ability to build expertise quickly.
• Knowledge of one or more of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks, operating systems, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, applications, and cryptography.
• English and Dutch communication and presentation skills required; non-Dutch speakers are not accepted.
