Senior Business Applications Analyst (Facets)

Location: Remote Flex in North Carolina, United States; remote work with a few in-office visits each year. The role may involve onsite collaboration depending on distance from the Durham headquarters.

Salary: $98,092–$156,947 annually, plus an annual incentive bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Identify business requirements and design solutions for packaged medical plan software.
• Lead Facets configuration, administration, file configuration, and system testing.
• Develop software modification requirements, interface design specifications, and technical documentation.
• Analyze business problems, recommend solutions, implement improvements, and communicate business impacts.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and liaison for business areas, customers, and project teams.
• Provide technical leadership, consultative support, and guidance to junior staff.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Facets medical plan product configuration, including benefits, accumulators, and effective-date-driven changes.
• Experience with Facets components including PDBC, PDVC, SEPY, LTLT, DEDE, and Benefit Management.
• Working knowledge of SQL for basic queries, data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree, or 7+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with SDLC activities including solution design, code development and maintenance, unit testing, and documentation.
