Systems/Quality Analyst I -III (Facets Application Services)

Location: Hybrid, three days per week in office at offices in Salt Lake City, Boise, Fargo, Portland, Vancouver, Renton, Medford, Burlington, or Lewiston, United States. Candidates should live within commuting distance of selected offices or be willing to relocate.

Salary: Systems Analyst I expected hiring range of $59,000–$74,000 in Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho; other level- and location-specific ranges apply.

What you will do

• Create technical specifications, use cases, story cards, and other structured requirements.
• Analyze business processes, healthcare data, application functionality, and basic technical models.
• Write SQL queries and contribute to data analysis, scripting, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Support software testing, including SIT/UAT, defect management, and quality assurance strategy.
• Coordinate with development teams, end users, business partners, vendors, and analysts.
• Provide level-one application monitoring and on-call support, including issue identification and routing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1, 2, or 5 years of relevant business or systems experience for Analyst I, II, or III respectively.
• Experience developing software requirements and using structured software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Facets applications, especially claims, membership, and billing, plus healthcare and insurance concepts.
• Experience with SQL, database querying, ETL, data integrations, XML, file-based exchanges, and data quality assurance.
• Analyst III candidates must be able to lead complex work efforts, create advanced specifications and SQL, and coach junior analysts.

Nice to have

• Experience with API concepts, JSON, collections, logical data models, and automated validation techniques.
• Experience coordinating trading partners and vendors.
• Experience with AI tools and technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.
