Business Systems Analyst Support Services Senior

Location: Hybrid, three days per week in office at offices in Salt Lake City, Boise, Fargo, Portland, Vancouver, Renton, Medford, Burlington, or Lewiston; candidates should live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.

Expected hiring range: $89,000–$114,000 annually in Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho; North Dakota full salary range: $72,523–$119,663 annually. Bonus target: 10% where applicable.

What you will do

• Design, configure, and maintain functional systems, including reviewing specifications, data flows, and change-control processes.
• Write and execute ad-hoc SQL reports, queries, and data scripts.
• Conduct unit, user acceptance, end-to-end, and regression testing, followed by quality assurance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Act as a liaison between business areas and technology teams, communicating system changes to staff, management, and end users.
• Analyze sustainment issues and recommend process and technology improvements.
• Prioritize multiple assignments, provide project leadership, mentor Business Analysts, and support technologies such as Talend, Tableau, and APIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent healthcare industry experience may substitute.
• At least 3 years of experience in business requirements definition and analysis, process modeling, functional systems design, configuration, or acceptance testing.
• Experience working within a supported business area, such as claims processing, membership, product configuration, enrollment, or eligibility.
• Advanced SQL knowledge and report-writing capabilities.
• Ability to develop functional requirements, facilitate configuration decisions, perform system testing, and communicate clearly with technical and business staff.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and mentor Level I team members.
