What you will do

• Support students individually and in small groups through academic tutoring, learning assessment, and personalized remediation plans.
• Prepare students for the NCLEX-RN exam and assist with Next Generation NCLEX activities and workshops.
• Facilitate simulation-based experiences and clinical learning labs, including setup, cleanup, equipment maintenance, and supply ordering.
• Develop and implement clinically based scenarios using high-fidelity patient simulators.
• Coordinate and supervise lab experiences and provide oversight during technical nursing skills practice.
• Document student progress and communicate academic and co-curricular outcomes to academic leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a current, unencumbered RN license.
• BLS CPR certification and BLS CPR instructor certification are required.
• At least one year of experience in an academic environment supporting classroom instruction or specialized tutoring is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, and proofreading skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Education or Nursing.
• ACLS and/or PALS certification.
