What you will do

• Lead technical requirements gathering, solution design, and architecture discussions for large-scale application modernization initiatives.
• Design and deliver scalable APIs, middleware, and integrations between internal banking systems and third-party payment processing platforms.
• Write secure, clean, resilient code while reviewing solution designs, technical proposals, pull requests, and source control activities.
• Guide testing strategies, code coverage, performance, resiliency, observability, security, and optimization practices.
• Coach engineers, provide hands-on technical guidance, and lead complex technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, security, business, and external technology partners on integrated solutions.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree with at least 7 years of systems analysis or application development experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Expert proficiency in at least one relevant programming language and professional proficiency in at least one additional relevant programming language.
• Experience with application modernization, API and middleware design, and enterprise system integration.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, distributed systems, and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with payment processing, transaction, or financial services technology environments.
• Ability to lead initiatives, manage complex delivery milestones, and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
