Service Coordinator II (HVAC)

Location: Markham, Ontario, Canada; onsite Monday through Thursday, with a flexible work location on Fridays

Salary: $50,065–$80,500 CAD per year

What you will do

• Coordinate service resources, dispatch technicians, and assign team members to projects.
• Schedule personnel, materials, subcontractors, and equipment according to project requirements, skills, and availability.
• Coordinate the assignment and dispatch of Controls Technicians and HVAC Technicians with Project Managers and the HVAC Field Technician Supervisor.
• Coordinate with the Parts Department and Acquisition team to support operations.
• Investigate customer concerns, route them to the appropriate staff, and respond to special requests.
• Generate work orders, review and forward project documentation, and prepare reports.

Requirements

• College or technical school certificate or degree with one year of related experience and/or training, or three years of related experience and/or training with a high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills and confidence communicating by phone.
• Strong organization, multitasking, prioritization, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems, and/or Temperature Controls.
• Practical experience and relevant skills in place of a four-year degree.
