Supervisor Transportation - CANADA (Transportation)

Location: Tilbury, Ontario, Canada; onsite transportation operations

Salary: $77,500–$106,600 annually, plus a 10% annual incentive plan target.

What you will do

• Supervise CDL drivers and coordinate daily transportation activities.
• Create schedules and assign routes to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Coordinate carriers, customs documentation, and cross-border Canada-U.S. freight procedures.
• Ensure vehicle fleet maintenance and compliance with transportation, hazardous-material, and hazardous-waste regulations.
• Monitor operating costs against budget and maintain clear communication with operations and disposal facilities.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and support transportation employees while resolving operational problems and complaints.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in maintenance, transportation, driving, and operations.
• Knowledge of personnel management, transportation operations, and transportation principles.
• Knowledge of Provincial, Federal, State, and Local transportation regulations.
• Knowledge of TDG, ECCC, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Experience or knowledge of E-Log management, cross-border shipping, customs documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to investigate complaints, analyze information, recommend resolutions, and use computer technology for communication, reporting, and data gathering.
