What you will do

• Ensure smooth, timely, and accurate ocean export freight processes.
• Enter operational data accurately and maintain export files and reports.
• Track and trace ocean export shipments and respond to internal and external requests.
• Maintain compliance with internal, external, and government regulations.
• Keep customer standard operating procedures current and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Escalate operational problems to management when necessary.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluent English.
• Effective interpersonal, listening, comprehension, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive approach and strong organizational skills.
• Good computer skills, including Excel and Word.

Nice to have

• Understanding of ocean documentation processes.
• Hazardous Materials certification.
