What you will do

• Develop, integrate, and sustain electrical end-of-line testers and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Build and assemble test equipment, including wiring harnesses, electrical panels, instrumentation, fixtures, and system checkouts.
• Develop and maintain LabVIEW-based test applications and integrate NI DAQ, cDAQ, and cRIO hardware.
• Support PLC, HMI, robot I/O, machine-vision, part-presence, and equipment-verification integrations.
• Troubleshoot electrical, software, mechanical, fixture, and instrumentation issues to improve equipment uptime and test repeatability.
• Drive cycle-time reduction, first-pass yield improvements, root-cause investigations, documentation, validation, and production support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or a related Engineering field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing test, electrical validation, or automation engineering in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience building and troubleshooting test equipment, wiring, harnesses, electrical panels, and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with PLC/HMI systems and industrial robots from a hardware-integration perspective.
• Ability to read and author electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, fixture documentation, and production documentation; knowledge of ESD, electrical safety, and machine guarding.
• Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and documentation skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and version-control practices.
