Sr. Technician - Factory Automation (Day Shift)

Location: Essex Junction, United States; onsite day shift, 7 AM–7 PM

Salary: $48,200–$83,200 per year

What you will do

• Monitor, control, repair, and recover factory automation systems, equipment, and mobile robotics.
• Perform preventive maintenance, respond to system errors, and process wafers according to defined procedures.
• Conduct visual quality inspections and complete required reporting and documentation.
• Improve tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost through troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Follow environmental, health, safety, and security requirements while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Two-year associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent military experience.
• At least 18 months of relevant experience or equivalent military experience.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Ability to work onsite in a 12-hour alternate schedule and remain on your feet for up to 10 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a cleanroom wearing a cleanroom suit, gloves, and required PPE.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, robotics, or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Three or more years of related technical experience.
• Strong communication skills.
