Automation & Technology Solutions Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Gloucester, MA, United States. Relocation eligible. Travel required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $96,000–$132,000 per year, with potential bonus and stock award participation.

What you will do

• Design, integrate, and deploy automation solutions for a centralized warehouse.
• Collaborate with IT, logistics, manufacturing, customer service, operations, and engineering teams.
• Advance warehouse automation through Smart Vision, RFID transactions, robotics, control systems, and AMR material movement.
• Manage SAP and automation roadmaps, prioritize high-value programs, and maintain deployed systems.
• Lead medium- to large-scale projects within scope, timeline, budget, change-control, and service requirements.
• Establish quality metrics, train staff, and support safety and operational compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in warehouse automation and systems integration.
• Deep knowledge of automation technologies, SAP integration, warehouse operations, robotics, and control systems.
• Experience with Python or PLC programming and software such as CAD, SmartSheet, Tableau, Excel, Minitab/JMP, SAP, Creo, Visio, and FlexSim.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex technical projects, with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
