What you will do

• Process amendments to commercial and performance/financial standby letters of credit accurately and on time.
• Apply ICC guidelines, International Trade Finance policies, procedures, and controls to minimize bank risk.
• Identify fraudulently presented items and escalate risk-related issues to management.
• Support cross-training for less experienced staff and provide feedback on training progress.
• Participate in letter of credit project teams and complete related duties.
• Maintain internal control standards and support timely resolution of audit and regulatory issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of professional work experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States of America.

Nice to have

• International Trade Operations experience.
• Commercial lending experience.
