Commercial Construction Loan Specialist (Finance)

Salary: $34–$40 per hour, plus a 10% annual target bonus

What you will do

• Support end-to-end processing of construction-to-permanent and standalone commercial construction loans.
• Review loan documents, construction terms, budgets, funding requirements, covenants, and loan agreements.
• Coordinate project setup, construction draws, inspections, funding approvals, and project status records.
• Review complex draw requests, validate completion percentages and fund availability, and monitor lien waivers and title updates.
• Identify cost overruns, delays, contractor issues, budget deficiencies, and collateral risks, escalating concerns as needed.
• Act as the primary liaison for borrowers, contractors, builders, title companies, inspectors, loan officers, management, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial construction lending, construction administration, loan servicing, commercial credit, or a related construction field required.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction lending practices and applicable lending policies.
• Ability to build member relationships, collaborate across stakeholders, adapt to changing situations, and address challenges with urgency.
• Driver's license required.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, construction management, project management, or a related field preferred.
