Commercial Credit Underwriting Portfolio Manager 3

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States; onsite at 300 E. Lombard Street. Occasional travel may be required.

Salary: $94,146–$156,910 per year, plus potential overtime, incentive, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Underwrite, monitor, and analyze an assigned commercial loan portfolio.
• Lead complex transactions involving syndications, multi-level capital structures, and Middle Market relationships.
• Assess credit structure, risk ratings, policy compliance, and portfolio performance against KPIs and KRIs.
• Prepare written credit analyses and present proposed credit actions to committees and meetings.
• Support Commercial Relationship Managers in managing client relationships and optimizing customer outcomes.
• Contribute to process improvements and mentor junior Underwriting Portfolio Managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in arts or science.
• At least 5 years of related professional experience.
• Knowledge of commercial lending, including C&I and capital markets, underwriting practices, and banking practices.
• Knowledge of commercial banking policies, procedures, and government regulations.
• Strong project management, communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; basic Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills.
