Focus on configuring lab hardware, conducting end-to-end testing, troubleshooting cross-functional integration issues, and developing custom electrical systems for ground and flight applications.

Location: On-site in Atlanta, Georgia, United States

What you will do

  • Test avionics and electrical subsystems and validate performance against requirements.
  • Design and maintain wire diagrams for subsystem integration.
  • Configure hardware and embedded computers in laboratory environments for testing and validation.
  • Perform end-to-end integration testing across electrical, hardware, and software components.
  • Design and test custom electrical systems for ground-test and flight applications.
  • Document test results, integration procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting activities.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Entry-level experience with C++, C, or other embedded programming languages.
  • Experience integrating hardware and working with embedded computers such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or STM32 systems.
  • Strong understanding of engineering first principles and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must meet U.S. export-control requirements as a U.S. person or be eligible for deemed export licensing.

Culture & Benefits

  • Spring internship: approximately 16 weeks from January through April.
  • Summer internship: approximately 12 weeks from May through August.
