Software Engineering (Embedded Systems) (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, with in-person collaboration at the Playa Vista office

Compensation: $45 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and improve software controlling commercial satellites.
• Write embedded software for new spacecraft hardware components.
• Improve software running on microcontroller devices used in space.
• Contribute to embedded systems, simulations, and user interfaces.
• Own an internship project focused on reliability and efficiency with guidance from a dedicated mentor.

Requirements

• Proficiency in C or C++.
• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Expected graduation in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Spring interns must be available to pause or adjust academic commitments during the 10–12 week program.
