Senior Director, Finance, ITP Upstream (MedTech)

Location: Deerfield, Illinois, United States; flexible hybrid workplace with a required minimum number of onsite days

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive

What you will do

• Lead upstream finance for the approximately $7 billion Infusion Therapies & Platforms division.
• Partner with Marketing, Business Development, Research & Development, Supply Chain, and global vice presidents on portfolio strategy, growth, and margin expansion.
• Evaluate new product development, innovation investments, licensing, partnerships, and other inorganic growth opportunities.
• Guide capital allocation across CapEx, headcount, R&D spending, capacity expansion, and operational investments.
• Lead annual operating plans, long-range planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and executive decision support.
• Manage a team of 4–5 employees and lead cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership in complex, global, and matrixed organizations.
• Strong capabilities in financial analysis, strategic planning, investment evaluation, portfolio management, and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, tax considerations, financial governance, and legal accounting requirements.
• Strong executive communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and consensus-building skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with required onsite presence in Deerfield, Illinois.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced business or finance qualification.
• Experience with strategic planning, business development, innovation investments, portfolio management, and capital allocation.
