Location: Carlsbad, California; Tempe, Arizona; or Duluth, Georgia. Location is flexible, with travel of up to 50% required. The role requires US citizenship and an active United States Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Salary: $174,000–$275,000 annually. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $216,000–$324,000 annually.

What you will do
- Identify, qualify, and capture new business in Counter-UAS, electromagnetic spectrum operations, spectrum dominance, SIGINT, and ELINT.
- Lead the business development lifecycle from opportunity identification through capture strategy, proposal execution, negotiation, and contract award.
- Develop compliant, competitive proposals and establish teaming partnerships with subcontractors and industry partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with US Department of War, military, intelligence community, and defense industry stakeholders.
- Create multi-year growth strategies, analyze market intelligence, and manage a qualified opportunity pipeline using CRM tools.
- Coordinate with engineering, product, sales, marketing, legal, and capture management teams to align pursuits with ACES business strategy.
Requirements
- US citizenship and United States Secret Clearance are required; ability to obtain TS/SCI is required.
- 10+ years of sales growth and contract acquisition experience in the aerospace and defense industry, including success winning large contracts.
- Extensive US Department of War and defense industry relationships, especially in electromagnetic spectrum operations, spectrum dominance, SIGINT, or ELINT.
- Deep knowledge of federal contracting, procurement, funding and contracting mechanisms, and the Department of War budget and acquisition process.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Nice to have
- Experience with Special Access Programs, US Department of War electromagnetic spectrum systems, SIGINT or ELINT systems, or acquisition program management.
- Master’s degree in a technical or business field.
- Experience transitioning science and technology efforts into programs of record.
- Experience with Advanced Sensors, Technologies, Active Communication Programs, and Tactical Data Links.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI.
