What you will do

• Develop, expand, and retain customer relationships through proactive outreach, portfolio management, appointments, and referrals.
• Assess customer needs, identify sales opportunities, open accounts, and follow up on development plans.
• Evaluate financing requests, recommend loan structures, and submit complete loan application packages.
• Explain consumer, mortgage, HELOC, business banking, treasury management, and merchant services products.
• Build referral relationships with business bankers, mortgage loan originators, Centers of Influence, and community contacts.
• Maintain compliance, audit, fraud prevention, KYC, CIP, internal control, and Federal SAFE Act registration requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience, or at least 2 years of proactive sales experience.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, customer service, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated financial services product knowledge and the ability to communicate tactfully with internal and external customers.
• Proficiency with internet user-level technology and standard communication tools.
• Ability to work in an open, face-to-face branch environment in Nottingham, Maryland.
• Ability to stand for long periods, use hands and fingers for extended periods, read fine print, and lift objects weighing 5 to 30 pounds.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Notary public license.
• At least 3 years of financial services sales experience.
• Bilingual ability based on branch needs.
