Manager, Software Engineering (Automotive Software)

What you will do

• Lead and coach a full stack engineering team, set goals, provide feedback, and remove blockers.
• Drive delivery across multiple initiatives in alignment with product goals and refined backlogs.
• Partner with product managers, designers, technical leads, and leadership on priorities, requirements, architecture, and budgets.
• Ensure systems are secure, performant, testable, observable, and designed for scalability.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard engineers while supporting career growth and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years managing engineering teams in an Agile environment.
• Backend experience with .NET/C#, Kotlin or Java, API design, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Frontend experience with Angular, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and component-based UI development.
• Experience with AWS services, relational and NoSQL data stores, Kafka, event-driven architecture, CI/CD, observability, automated testing, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Willingness to attend virtual meetings with the camera on and work onsite in Alpharetta, Georgia.
