Manager, AI-Native Software Engineering (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States, with the role based in Denver, CO; Huntersville, NC; Rosemont, IL; or Las Vegas, NV. Remote candidates may need to travel to Las Vegas occasionally.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers across experience levels.
• Own delivery commitments for features, bug fixes, and technical investments within an agentic pod model.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical planning.
• Maintain engineering standards for C#/.NET, API design, database patterns, frontend development, and Azure DevOps CI/CD.
• Drive adoption of GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Azure OpenAI, including prompt engineering and AI output review practices.
• Track engineering metrics and use them to improve velocity, predictability, delivery health, and system quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience and 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server or Azure SQL, and React or Angular.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployment practices on Azure.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, product, and business stakeholders in an agile delivery environment.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and the ability to coach engineers on prompt engineering, AI output evaluation, and responsible AI use.
