Strategic Operations Analyst (Healthcare AI)

What you will do

• Investigate complex operational, clinical, financial, and quantitative questions to identify root issues, risks, opportunities, and practical courses of action.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses, presentations, dashboards, briefing materials, and strategic recommendations.
• Analyze access, throughput, care progression, capacity management, transfers, complex cases, and other enterprise priorities.
• Explore and implement AI-enabled tools, reusable prompts, templates, and workflows for operational analysis, knowledge management, executive communication, and productivity.
• Conduct research, benchmarking, literature reviews, environmental scans, and emerging technology assessments.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence, Finance, IT, Clinical Operations, Care Coordination, Capacity Management, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, analytics, public health, management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare operations, strategy, business analytics, consulting, performance improvement, project management, healthcare administration, or a related analytical field.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, systems-thinking, communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to synthesize operational, clinical, financial, quantitative, and qualitative information into actionable recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• LA City Fire Life Safety Training is required; certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not held at hiring.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business, analytics, public health, management, or a related field.
• Experience supporting executives, preparing executive briefings, developing dashboards, or leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with generative AI, healthcare operations, Lean, Performance Excellence, process improvement, or project management methodologies.
